Deliverance Temple Ministries will present Woman to Woman Conference 2013, set for June 6 and 7. This year’s conference theme is “Extreme Makeover: The Inside Job.” Guest speaker for this two-night event will be Pastor Wendy Smith-Martin, of Greater Victory Christian Center in Atlanta, Ga., and Evangelist Ruby Holland-Hutchins of Greater Community Temple COGIC in Memphis, Tenn.

plans revival

A three-day revival hosted by New Life Ministries will have as its theme: “Growing for God’s Glory,” and will include preaching, teaching and fellowship. It starts at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 2, and runs through Tuesday, June 4, with 7 p.m. services daily. The revival will be at New Life Ministries, 640 Shelfer St., Quincy. The host pastor is Maurice E. Minister Harper

First Restored Church of Jesus Christ Inc., 867 Joe Adams Road, Quincy, will host an Appreciation Program for Minister Hattie Harper at 4 p.m. June 2. Men’s conference ahead in Tallahassee

Men Leading Generations Conference 2013 will be June 21 through 23 at Wings of Dove Outreach Ministry, 800 W. Brevard St., Tallahassee. COGIC gets musical

St. John Church of God in Christ (St. John COGIC) will host a Musicians’ Tribute at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 2, for musicians Reginald Ray, Melvin Ray, John Price Jr., Robert Goldwire, Corey Allyne and Bobby Eason Jr. 

The program will feature praise and worship groups from the surrounding areas in music, song, dance, and more. The pastor and members of Steward Temple AME Church invite the community to come and celebrate Family and Friends’ Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 8, with guest speaker the Rev. Effie Randolph-Boone. The church is at 85 Woodward Road and the Rev. Louisa L. Thomas is the pastor. Breakfast donation is $7.

Holy Community plans special events

Holy Community Church Inc., 24450 Blue Star Highway, Quincy, with Prophetess Heather Shaw-Armstrong, Senior Pastor; Pastor Marvin Armstrong, Senior Pastor; Apostle Neather Shaw, Apostle; will host Friday Night Live services at the church on Friday, June 7, at 7:30 p.m. On June 14, Holy Community is on the program at Church of Jesus Christ Holy Mission at 7:30 p.m. Holy Community Church will have its annual Father’s Day Program at the church at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, June 16. On Friday, June 21, Holy Community will host Friday Night Live services at 7:30 p.m. with guest speakers. Holy Community Church will host its fifth Sunday Union Services at the church, including church from the North Florida District, South Florida, and South Georgia.

Church celebrates three decades

St. John honoring stewardesses
