Men’s conference ahead in Tallahassee

Men Leading Generations Conference 2013 will be June 21 through 23 at Wings of Dove Outreach Ministry, 800 W. Brevard St., Tallahassee. Service times are 7:30 p.m., June 21; breakfast and workshop, 10 a.m., June 22; and service and community feeding, 11 a.m. June 23. Donations accepted. Open Door

The Open Door Church, next to Sawdust Park in the Sawdust Community will present the “Woman to Woman Unity Crusade” “Real Talk” (What do you, when you don’t know what to do). Keeping it real. Uniting forces to save our children. The event will be Thursday, June 13, through Saturday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Tribute to 

an inspiration

A tribute to the Rev. Leroy Colston in appreciation for 21 years of dedicated services with the Fellowship Mass Choir as the musician and director will be at 7 p.m. June 13 at New Bethel AME Church, 23209 Blue Star Highway, Quincy. Sponsored by the Fellowship Mass Choir.

St. Paul AME plans special program

St. Paul AME Church will be having a Favorite State Program at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22 and a Fellowship/Worship service at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23. The Rev. Louisa Thomas and the Steward Temple AME Church family of Quincy will be in charge of the service. The church is at 825 Bill McGill Memorial Hwy in Midway, where the Rev. True Fellowship Holiness Church will celebrate first responders during a special church service to thank these men and women for their support to the community and attending to the needs and safety of all citizens. The appreciation service will be held at 11 a.m. June 30, 2013 at the historic church at 123 FAMU Way Tallahassee Florida.

Pastor celebrates 10 years

The Church of Jesus Christ Holy Mission Pentecostal, Presiding Elder, J.M. Jones Jr., pastor. We the members will celebrate the pastor’s 10th anniversary through June 16 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Jesus Family Reunion: The Remix

This year, at Power Ministries Church of God in Christ, Vacation Bible School celebrates being a part of God’s Family! The dates are 7 to 9 p.m. daily, July 10 to 12, with the Opening Rally and Registration scheduled for 7 p.m. July 9. The church is at 915 Short Street, Chattahoochee.
