plans celebration

The St. Thomas MB Church invites the public to the annual Youth Family & Friends Day Celebration 2013 at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, July 28. Our theme is “A Family That Prays Together, Stays Together.”. The guest speaker for this occasion will be Elder Joe N. Malone, Pastor of Shady Grove #2 PB Church in Tallahassee. Music will be rendered by the St. Thomas Collegiate Choir. There will be other guest program participants as well.

expecting revival

The combined congregation of Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, St. John AME Church, Stewart Temple AME Church and St. Hebron AME Church will host its annual Summer Revival, Monday, July 29 through Friday, Aug. 2, at St. John AME Church, Quincy. Nightly services will begin at 7 with the Rev. John Neal bringing the message. The public is invited.

At 4 p.m. Sunday July 28, the church will host a Pre-Family and Friends Day Program, “Chosen Generation Worship Center” of Tallahassee. Elder Kenneth L. Robinson, pastor, will be Guest Church for the evening. The public is

New Life treatment

New Life Ministries, Pastor Maurice E. Evans, will host Vacation Bible School for children ages 2 years old to students entering six 6th grade from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, through Friday, Aug. 2, and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 (Fun Day/Parent Day). 120 years for New Bethel AME Church

Join the family of God in worship as the New Bethel AME Church Family celebrates its 120th Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. The anniversary theme is: “Look Where He Brought Us From.”

The church family invites the entire community to share in the celebration of the past, present and future in giving God the Glory for enabling the Bethelites to do “God’s Work God’s Way.” Generations of all past, present, and future Bethel family, friends and acquaintances are encouraged to join in worship and praise to an almighty God.

New Bethel’s vision of servitude embraces: The Mission of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, which is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and environmental needs of all people by spreading Christ’s liberating gospel through word and deed. Everyone’s invited to come out from preschool children of all ages to adults are invited to take part in this fun-filled Bible Program. New Birth announces Orlando youth event

New Birth Church and Pastor Eddie Richardson will be having their 2013 Youth Retreat July 26 through 28, 2013 in Orlando. Travel will be provided by Astro Charter Bus and the stay will be at the Rosen Hotel. Participants will visit Universal Studios, World Bowling Center and the outlet malls. Revival in Gretna

The Beulah Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 14533 Main St., Gretna, and under the pastorate of the Rev. Marcus Smith will celebrate a season of revival beginning Thursday, August 8-10 starting at 7 nightly. The Rev. Jason Montgomery of Bartow will deliver God’s word, along with guest choirs from the surrounding area. All are welcome to come and worship.
