West Gadsden takes the field for spring football training

The West Gadsden Panther's football team has begun preparations for it's 2012 season by kicking off it's annual spring training program. Upon watching the team it was clear that the players are very upbeat and focused on improving. When asked if any games on next seasons schedule stick out, Coach Antonio Bradwell responded by saying that "the district games are all important." The team's overall goal for next year is to win a state championship.

To make it's state championship aspirations a reality the team will look to key returning players such as Teron Fitzgerald, Marquis Brown, and Isreal Grande for substantial contributions. Coach Bradwell also mentioned that the team has "matured, and gotten stronger and become more physical." Watching the players during position drills showed that the head coach's view of the team is an accurate one.

The assistant coaches also seem to be pushing the players and looking for big things to be accomplished next season. The team's motto for the up coming season is "EA Sports" which is a term they use to remind themselves to display the right attitude and give maximum effort. Seems as if the Panther football program is looking to strive and take it all the way to the house next season.
