Incumbents ahead in Quincy, Havana

Incumbents in Quincy and Havana won their respective races in the Gadsden County municipal elections held Tuesday, which also saw a former Quincy commissioner get close to reclaiming the seat
she previously
represented.
In Havana, Robert L. Miller was able to retain his Group 6 seat, winning the election over Decorkus Allen by a 10-vote margin. Miller received 188 votes while Allen received 178.
In Quincy, Andy Gay retained his District 4 commission seat, bringing in 71 percent of the 337 votes in his race.
