  • James D. Barfield

    James D. Barfield, 71, of the Hardaway Community in Gadsden County, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 in Tallahassee. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret Barfield. Private services are planned.

    A native of Ochlocknee, Georgia and a lifelong resident of this area, he was a retired lineman with the City of Tallahassee and a veteran of the United States Army.

    Other survivors include his step-son, Charles Sanford; his grandson, Travis Sanford; and four sisters, Geraldine, Margie, Norma Jean, Linda and Shirley.
