The Foundation For Dreams Summer Enrichment Program will begin June 8 and will end on July 31 for students who are entering the kindergarten through sixth grade levels. Each child will be assessed to determine his or her academic needs and any special assistance that will be needed. Additional activities include arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, games, computer access, stories, movies and much more.

Paul and Connie McLendon of Quincy, along with Tom and Vicki Hayford of Bonifay, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Carrie Marie McLendon and Harold Jason Hayford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Thomas and Maxine Bush of Bonifay, Betty Sue McLendon and the late Winston McLendon of Quincy. A Quincy resident, she is a currently pursuing a nursing degree at Tallahassee Community College.

• First Baptist Church in Quincy holds Sunday School each week at 9:45 a.m., followed by worship at 10:55. Sunday evening worship begins at 6 p.m. Sunday morning worship services are broadcast on Sunday events at 6 p.m. on 93.3 FM.

• Church services at Mt. Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church are held the first, second and fourth Sundays at 11 a.m., and at 8 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. Church school begins at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning.
