Thomas Jr. Lawrence

Thomas Jr. Lawrence, 70, of Gretna, died on Sunday January 8, 2012 in Tallahassee.  Services were 1 PM Saturday, January 14, at Peace MB Church in Gretna, with burial in Greensboro Community Cemetery in Greensboro.  Bradwell Mortuary of Quincy was in charge of the arrangements. 

He is survived by a devoted friend, Martha Dick of Gretna; his daughters, Sandra Giles of Charlotte, NC and Christine Lawrence of Quincy; step-children, Sonja Harris of Valdosta, GA, Jannie Dick of Gretna and Charles Bethel of Chattahoochee, devoted granddaughter, Shameca Donald of Quincy; sisters, Clara Mae Head (Will) of Charlotte, NC and Willie Bell Green of Miramar.  He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Whitaker.
