At exactly 9:11 a..m. September 9, representatives from The Quincy Police Department, the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office, Quincy Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services and Wetumptka Volunteer Fire Department, were silent for one minute. The group of approximately 35, along with a handful of citizens, gathered at the entrance of the W.A. Woodham Justice Center to honor the men and women who were victims of one of the most tragic days in the nation's history.
