-A A +A
By Alice Du Pont

Calvre'Ona Davis, a sixth grade student at Havana Middle School, was the center of attention during the March 16 meeting of the Gadsden County Board of Commissioners.

Davis had requested a place on the agenda to request approval for a resolution to ban the sale and marketing of flavored tobacco products in the county.

She told commissioners that as a part of the county’s Students Working Against Tobacco program, she wants to improve the health of local residents.
