Smith, McWhite to wed March 13

Jerry Smith (Bertha) of Greenwood and Doristhine Wade of Sneads, along with Clinton and Johnnie Mae McWhite Jr. of Chattahoochee, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Clinton McWhite and Rosa Smith. The bride-elect is a graduate of Forest Senior High in Jacksonville and earned her associate's degree at American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Ga. She is currently in graduate school at Florida Community College at Jacksonville, pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resource management. She is the granddaughter of Lila Smith, and the late Elton Smith Sr.,of Sycamore, and the late Clarence and Emily Sampson of Jacksonville.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Chattahoochee High School in Chattahoochee and is employed as an electrician in Tallahassee. He is the grandson of Willie Long, the late Ira Dean Long and the late Clinton McWhite Sr. and Onie Bell McWhite of Chattahoochee.

The wedding is planned for March 13, 2010 in Tallahassee, with a reception to follow.
