Harmon F. Sewell, 87, died Dec. 31, 2008. He was born August 12, 1921 in Chason. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII in Okinawa and Alaska. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Robbie Martin Sewell of Greensboro. Graveside services were held Jan 2 at Sycamore Cemetery.
He is also survived by a daughter, Debra Sewell Clark of Quincy; grandsons, Andrew W. Clark of Greensboro and Clayton A. Clark of Tallahassee; brothers, William Earl Sewell (Angelina), Lynwood Fate Sewell (Alice Ann) of Altha and Paul Sewell (Marlene) of White City; sisters, Blondell Morgan of Panama City, Eva Weston (Gundie) of White City and Johnny Maddox of Altha.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Fletcher and Ida Harrell Sewell, and his stepmother, Mary Baggett Sewell, all of Altha, brothers, Green and J.C. Sewell, and sisters, Ruby, Jewell, Mizie, Grace, Eunice and Cleavie.
