RFM netters pick up wins

The Robert F. Munroe varsity tennis team picked up two wins at The Golf Club of Quincy. 

The team defeated John Paul II 5-2.  Winning matches for the Lady Cats were Beth Summerford, No. 2 (6-0, 6-0); Anna Dooner No. 3, (6-1, 6-0); Abby Lewis No. 5, (6-1, 6-3). Both doubles teams  of  Summerford/Summerford (8-2) and Dooner/Thomas (9-7) also won.

The team hosted Florida High and won 6-1. Meg Summerford, No. 1 seed, won handily (6-0, 6-0) as her did her sister Beth in the No. 2 slot (6-0, 6-0).
