Baseball action turned out good for the R.F. Munroe baseball team as they edged Sneads Friday night.
Cody Watson picked up his first win of the year in the contest. The senior right-hander went more than six innings and fanned five Pirates.
Brock Hinson came in to retire the last Sneads batter and picked up his second save of the year.
Sam Young led the Bobcat offense with three hits and Hinson and Clay Kramm had two hits each.
The Bobcats’ record is 10-2. The team played at Altha Monday.
