Red Birds split twin bill, Sunday action on tap

The Chattahoochee Red Birds split a double-header at Therrell Field Saturday, defeating the Gulf County Drive 3-2 before losing to the Jackson County Jays 7-3.

The Red Birds are 2-1 in the season and stand in first place.

In other action this past week the Liberty County Diamond Dawgs defeated the Calhoun County Horseman 20-11.

This Sunday's games have the Bay County Brewers at Chattahoochee at 3 p.m., the Jackson County Jays at Liberty County at 3 p.m. and the Gulf County Drive at Calhoun County at 2 p.m.
