Red Birds pound Brewers in Big Bend play

The Chattahoochee Red Birds jumped off to an 8-0 first inning lead and went on to defeat the Bay County Brewers 11-4 in a Big Bend Adult Baseball League in Chattahoochee Sunday.

Hits by Ben Young, Kyle Hanks, Mike Dolan and Austin Riano helped Chattahoochee to their big first inning. Young finished the game with three hits.

Clay White pitch five innings to get the win. White gave up only one unearned run in his stint.

The win kept Chattahoochee atop the Eastern Division of the league with a 3-1 record.
