For the first time and definitely not the last, the Quincy Wildcats youth lacrosse team traveled to Charlotte, N.C. to participate in a weekend of lacrosse games and clinics.
This jamboree hosted by the 1sTouch Charlotte Condor’s director, Greg Carter, gave the Wildcats a trip that was both exciting and fulfilling. Led by the Quincy Wildcats president, Curtis Fields, assistant coach Jones, and several parents, the lacrosse players had a time of their lives.
Although new to the sport, the impressive Wildcats stood their ground with more experienced teams and won three out of six games, returning home with pride and elation, along with individual certificates of achievement. “When can we come back”? the players asked… “Soon… real soon”, responded Coach Fields.
