First Presbyterian Church of Quincy plans VBS
First Presbyterian Church of Quincy invites children to “Weird Animals: Where Jesus’ Love Is One-of-a-Kind.” The summer VBS program will be at the church June 2 to 6. With “Weird Animals,” children will learn about some of God’s most creative creations by participating in memorable Bible-learning activities, singing catchy songs, playing teamwork-building games, making and digging into yummy treats, experiencing cool Bible adventures, collecting Bible Memory Buddies to remind them they are one of a kind, and testing out Sciencey-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with The Tail End a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:45 a.m.
Kids at Weird Animals VBS will join an international mission effort to share God’s love by providing water for school children in India. Weird Animals VBS is for children from three years to rising seventh-graders and will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day.
