Bethel Assembly of God to host VBS

Bethel Assembly of God, 1882 Pine Grove Church Road, Quincy, (Greensboro/Sycamore Community), Pastor Josh Garner, announces the 2014 VBS - Weird Animals, 6:30 to 9 p.m., through Friday, July 14 to 18. Celebrate 190 years of Old Mt. Pleasant UMC

Appreciating Pastor Riggins

The Word Ministry Inc., celebration for pastor Kenneth L. Riggins will continue through July 18 at 7 p.m. daily. The public is invited. Dr. McCloud’s Symposium 2014 will continue at 11 a.m. July 19. Special service at Steward Temple

The Rev. Louisa L. Thomas and the members of the Steward Temple AME Church invite the community to the annual Family and Friends Day.  Worship services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 27. The Rev. Heating up for summer revival

St. Paul A.M.E. Church Family will sponsor a summer revival from Wednesday through Saturday, July 16 - 19,  at 7 p.m. daily. The church is at 825 Bill McGill Memorial Highway in Midway. Everyone is invited. The Rev. Shirlean Thomas is the pastor.

St. Hebron African Methodist Episcopal Church will host its annual summer revival in conjunction with Steward Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church, Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, St. Matthew Primitive Baptist Church and St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church from July 28 – Aug.1, beginning nightly at 7 p.m. Featured guest pastor will be the Dr. Rev. James C. Wade, executive director Department of Church Growth and Development of Memphis, Tenn.
