Day for men, women, in Fowlstown, Ga.
The St. Thomas M.B. Church at 198 Edwards Road, Fowlstown, Ga., invites the public to its annual Men & Women Day at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28. The Rev. Charles McDonald and Mt. Early M.B. Church of Albany, Ga., will be in charge of the services. Dinner will be served.

sets centennial events
Steward Temple AME Church invites the public to celebrate the church’s 100th anniversary. The guest speaker at 11 a.m. April 21 will be the Rev. Charles Flower, Pastor, Fountain Head AMEC; at 7 p.m. April 26, a musical extravaganza; and at 11 a.m. April 28, the Family Home Coming with the Rev. Fret Richardson, guest preacher; and the culminating service will start at 3 p.m. April 28, with the Rev. Mathew Bryant and St. John AME Church.
Dinner will be served after the 11 a.m. service.
The church is at 85 Woodward Road, Quincy, with the Rev. Louisa L. Thomas, pastor.

Sawdust Community, Quincy, will host its annual Evening in White Program at 4 p.m., April 28.
The Rev. Gregory Taylor, pastor of The Church of Excellence and His Church Family Choir, ushers and members will be the church guests and in charge of the service.

The Church of Redeemed Believers Inc. will host its annual Spring Revival, 7:30 p.m. daily, April 23 to 28.

First Restored Church of Jesus Christ Inc., 867 Joe Adams Road, Quincy, will have Communion at 7:30 p.m. April 25.

Bible study to explore the Book of Acts
Open Word Worship Center cordially invites the public to an exploration of the Book of Acts led by Elder Fert Richardson. Acts tells the story of how Christianity began and spread.
Meetings will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at 62 Lonnie Clark Rd (the old Greensboro Elementary School).
Church’s ministries branching out
The Second Elizabeth MB Church will launch several new ministries, which include a Singles Ministry and a Couples Ministry.
The launching of these ministries will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. Church family and friends are invited to join this endeavor.

Youth Day set
for Salem AME
Salem AME Church of Greensboro’s youth department has announced Youth Day Services at 11 a.m. April 28. The speaker for this occasion is 14-year-old Minister Christopher Brockington of Malone. Greenshade AME to host youth event
Greenshade AME Church, 8152 Salem Road, Quincy, will host “Youth Stop the Violence!” as a community outreach event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 18. Highlights will include Smokey the Bear, free health and business information, free food, free clothes giveaway, musical performances, a fashion show, fun activities and more. Donations are accepted.
