West Gadsden High’s Panthers hung in there but took a heavy loss Friday night against Rickards as the visiting team dominated play and took home a win at Corry Field.
Rickards (3-1) scored on four straight possessions in the first half, and went on to win the game in a shutout, 54-0.
The loss puts the Panthers’ season record at 0-4. WGHS hosts the Blountstown Tigers (4-0) this week.
