Mulloy C. Cannon, 92 of Quincy passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012. The service was Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Quincy with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Independent Funeral Home, Quincy (850) 875-1529.
She was born in Greensboro, FL, to the late Faye and Albert Chason. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Quincy. Mulloy was known for her neat and clean home and yard and always was in motion. She was always taking care of others.
She is survived by her sister; Myrtle Doris Chason Holloway of Panama City, a son; John Edward Cannon of Tallahassee, two daughters; Alice Cannon Bassett of Tallahassee, Janet Cannon LaCroix of Okeechobee, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and friend, Wilbur Haire. She is preceded in death by her husband, John O. Cannon and two brothers; Vernon and J.W. Chason.

The family are indebted to the wonderful caregivers and staff at the Magnolia House Assisted Living in Quincy, Big Bend Hospice, and Seven Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tallahassee who worked together to make her final days comfortable and full of love.
