The front skirting of Bertha Hughes' home at 425 Cleveland St. in Quincy was damaged  Sunday around 5 p.m. when a late model Ford Mustang driven by Charles Jenkins, 42,  plowed into it. After hitting the house, Jenkins left the scene of the accident. Witnesses told police where he had gone and officers arrested him a few blocks away on Hardin Street. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and having no driver’s license. Jenkins failed the field sobriety test and  police records indicate he refused to take the breathalyzer test. Two others were arrested after they confronted and allegedly threatened officers who were attempting to question Jenkins.  Horace Kenon was charged with disorderly intoxication and battery on a law enforcement officer after he struck Officer Kevin Brock in the face with a plastic card. Vladamir Card was charge with assault on a law enforcement officer, causing a public affray and resisting arrest without violence.
