Darryl Lightfoot Jr. poked a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fourth inning as he and his Quincy Dodger teammates went on to defeat the San Antonio, Texas Bears 17-3 in a baseball game played in Wacissa Sunday.

Lightfoot’s blast broke up a 3-3 tie game and got the Dodgers on an offensive roll.

Lightfoot finished with three hits in the contest and had six RBIs. Brian Elkins added two hits to the Quincy attack and drove in three runs.

Lefty Donnell Brown pitched the win for the Dodgers going all nine innings and allowing only three hits. Brown fanned nine during the contest.

The Dodgers, who are leading the Georgia/Florida/Alabama Baseball League with a 7-1 record, return to league action this Sunday when they host the Miccosukee Devils at 3 p.m. at Dodgers Park.
