We may be a small town but we have Big Art and Big Music. I get excited about every opening at the Gadsden Art Center and every new musical at the Leaf Theatre.

The Music Man will open on Friday the 15th and I will be volunteering for the first time. I am giddy.

I had been to several musicals in the last few years and every show left me astounded ñ astounded at the level of talent right here. These aren't amateur shows. I hear Broadway in the big voices. Some numbers leave me in tears and I admit it.
