"We've been getting some decent pitching and defense, and our hitting has come around," East Gadsden baseball coach Randall Estelle said after his team had a 2-1 week. "We didn't start the week off very well but we finished it up pretty nice."
The Jaguars lost to Rickards Monday 16-1, committing eight errors in the first two innings to fall behind. The only plus in that game for East Gadsden was Cameron Jackson's two hits.
Jackson kept his bat alive in the next game, slapping three hits in a 16-3 mercy-run win over John Paul.
