Heat to participate in Comet tourney

The Quincy Heat (13 & under girls AAU basketball team) played March 26-28 in their first AAU tournament in Jacksonville. Young and scrappy are the words to describe this competitive team. Out of 14, the team placed second in their pool and finished in the top six in tournament play. Playing a total of five games, they won three games convincingly. The remaining two games were hard fought. The two teams they lost to placed first and second in the entire tournament.
