Havana Pumpkin Festival
Oct. 17
Arts, crafts, food vendors, hayrides, pony and carriage rides, costume contests, live auction, face painting, magicians, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin patch and more.
Pumpkin festival proceeds benefit, in part, benefit Native Americans and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
This year’s festival will feature two new events: a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk and a Stroller Parade. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Oct. 17, and prizes will be awarded for the best decorated, best dressed baby/toddler and best “strollee.” No registration is required; just show up.
To participate in the Fun Run/Walk, pick up a packet at the Little River General Store by Oct. 15. The race will begin Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. Call 539-6900 or e-mail rflove55@hotmail.com.
