Begins at Sport’s Westside Pub in Tallahassee. First bike out at 11 a.m. and last bike out at 12:30. The run ends at Castle Dread in Havana, located at 7702 Fairbanks Ferry Rd. in Havana. Terror on 12: Castle Dread

Oct. 15-17, 22-24 and 28-31; Hours on Wednesday and Thursday, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7:30 – midnight. 

Entry is $10 for adults, and kids 6 and under get in free. Groups of 10 or more pay $8 each. All funds raised will benefit the Gadsden County Humane Society and the Children of Our Troops.

Havana Pumpkin Festival

Oct. 17

Arts, crafts, food vendors, hayrides, pony and carriage rides, costume contests, live auction, face painting, magicians, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin patch and more.

Pumpkin festival proceeds benefit, in part, benefit Native Americans  and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

This year’s festival will feature two new events: a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk and a Stroller Parade. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Oct. 17, and prizes will be awarded for the best decorated, best dressed baby/toddler and best “strollee.” No registration is required; just show up.

To participate in the Fun Run/Walk, pick up a packet at the Little River General Store by Oct. 15. The race will begin Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. Call 539-6900 or e-mail rflove55@hotmail.com.

Halloween Howl

Oct. 23-24, 6-10 p.m.

Appropriate for various age groups, including a Not-So-Spooky trail for little ones and hair-raising haunted trails for adults and older youth. Games, food, music, glow-in-the-dark toys, candy.
