The good news is the Lady Cats were led in scoring and rebounding against Liberty County by a trio of middle-school players, forecasting an improved future for the winless program.  Liberty County won the game 35-19 and led 21-8 at the half.  Joanna Parramore, a seventh-grader, had eight points, four steals and three rebounds.  Senior Morgan Bot added seven points and eighth-graders Brooke Smith and Elizabeth Kever combined for 13 rebounds.
The Lady Cats will face Tallavana Christian in the semifinal game of the three team,  2A District 1 tournament at Aucilla Christian.  That game will be played Tuesday night at 7.  The winner will face No. 1 seed Aucilla on Friday at 7 p.m.
