After the 2007 Capital City Basketball Classic the East Gadsden High Jaguars team was the talk of the Big Bend.

But after the 2008 Classic and a game with FAMU, the Jaguars are on a three-game losing streak and hold a 6-4 record.

The team lost to Stephenson High from Atlanta and Bainbridge in the Classic, then dropped a game to FAMU by a 74-58 score Saturday night.

Guard Leonardo Deloney was the only Jaguar in double-figures against FAMU. His 23-point effort couldn't overcome the tandem of FAMU's Alex Williams and Chris Griffin, who scored 27 and 20 respectively.

East Gadsden got back to the court Tuesday when the team visited Arnold.

The Jags play at Lake City tonight and host Rickards in a big game Saturday, and will host Godby in a district contest Tuesday.
