The East Gadsden High School Jaguars defeated John Paul II 14-4 in baseball last Tuesday in a mercy rule game.
The Jaguars took advantage of nine walks and six Panther errors to collect the win.
Cedric Akins was the winning pitcher, allowing only four hits and fanning two.
Cameron Jackson drove in two runs and Zedrian Polk rapped a pair of hits.
East Gadsden lost to FAMU High 8-6 Thursday in Tallahassee. Anthony Matthews and Zarian Polk each had hits for the Jaguars.
