East Gadsden High School names valedictorian

Jeffrey Jackson, 17 has earned the honor of being valedictorian for the East Gadsden High School Class of 2011 with a GPA of 4.21. The salutatorian is Patrice Nicole Brown, 17, with a GPA of 4.20. Jackson plans to attend the University of Florida to become an aeronautical engineer, while Brown will be heading to Florida A&M to study pharmacy. Family members, friends and school administrators gathered to help the pair celebrate last week.
