Quincy Main Street Music Festival is set for May 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. on the Courthouse Square. Admission is free, and the event will feature jazz and rhythm and blues music. Art exhibitions at the Gadsden Arts Center will also be on display from 6 to 9 p.m. Refreshments will be available on North Madison Street.

“Real to Abstract and Back,” will feature the work of artist Bob DeWitt Smith, whose style ranges from detailed photographic realism to pure abstraction.
