• The annual Betty Williams Keaton Scholarship Gospel Extravaganza will be held at First Elizabeth MB Church in Quincy Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. Sponsored by the Williams family and the Gadsden Mass Choir, the event will raise scholarship funds for local students. • Mt. Zion AME in Havana will host a Sweethearts Dance on the Glad Feb. 12 from 7 p.m. to midnight at Havana Middle School, in the cafeteria. For more information or tickets, call 539-6503.

• New Beginnings Assembly of God in Havana is hosting “Living an Extraordinary Life,” to help attendees answer the question, “Can my life get any better?” The programs are being held on Sunday morningsat 10:30 a.m.. For more information, call 364-5137.

• On the Move for Jesus will host a men’s conference Feb. 17-19, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. Every third Sunday is leadership meeting.

• Beulah Hill MB will host its annual Black History Month celebration Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. Speaker for the event is Judge Kathy Garner.

• Faith Temple Apostolic International Ministries will host a mid-winter conference Feb. 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. nightly featuring Jerry McCullough, Melvin Cross and Andre Shaw. The location is Miracle Temple COGIC in Mt. Pleasant.

• Agape Christian Fellowship in Quincy will host a Valentine’s dinner Feb. 14 at 4 p.m.

• Take it to the Streets Ministry Inc. hosts a community Bible study at Carter-Parramore Academy the first and third Monday each month at 7 p.m. Refreshments are served.

• Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church will host a pre-Valentine breakfast Feb. 13 at 9 a.m., and the annual Red & White program Feb. 14 at 3 p.m.  Speaker for the breakfast is Marilyn Barnes and Joann Kimble will speak during the program.  Music will be featured by John Harris and Worship Company for the breakfast. • St. Paul AME in Midway will host a Black History program Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Audrey Powell as guest speaker.

• New Birth Church will host its church anniversary Feb. 11-13 at 7 p.m. nightly and at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
