• First Baptist Church in Quincy holds Sunday School each week at 9:45 a.m., followed by worship at 10:55. Sunday evening worship begins at 6 p.m. Sunday morning worship services are broadcast on Sunday events at 6 p.m. on 93.3 FM.

• Church services at Mt. Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church are held the first, second and fourth Sundays at 11 a.m., and at 8 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. Church school begins at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning.

• Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist hosts Sunday services each week with church school at 9:30 a.m., followed by the morning worship service at 11.

• New Evangel Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 437 Williams St. in Quincy, holds Sunday School at 10 a.m. each Sunday, followed by a worship service at 11:30. For more information, call 850-875-2155.

• Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church hosts  Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. The church is located at 2718 Attapulgus Highway in Quincy.

• Highly Exalted Praise Ministries Inc. holds Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. each week, followed by worship at 11 a.m.

• Agape Christian Fellowship holds Sunday School each week at 9 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30.

• Shiloh Community MB Church and Outreach Center hosts Sunday School each week at 10 a.m. with worship afterward at 11.

• Gretna Kingdom Fellowship Center hosts a Sunday church service at 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.  

• Tabernacle Church of Christ Written in Heaven holds services each first, third and fourth Sundays at noon, with Sunday School each week at 10:30 a.m.

• Trinity Tabernacle Interdenominational Church holds Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. each week, followed by worship at 11 a.m.

• The Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research Inc., a nonprofit, non-denominational religious and scientific research organization, is hosting free public Bible study lectures every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 556-3158.

• The Fellowship at Midway Church meets at the Riverfront Restaurant each Sunday at 10:30 a.m., with life groups meeting throughout the week.

• St. Mary MB Church holds Sunday School each Sunday (except for third Sundays) at 9:45 a.m., followed by worship at 11. On the third Sunday, it begins at 8 a.m. Bible study is each Wednesday at 6 p.m.

• Thomas Memorial Baptist Church holds Sunday morning worship services at 8;30 and 11 a.m. each week, along with 9:45 a.m. Sunday School. Evening worship begins at 6, with AWANA meeting for children in second through fifth grades at 4:30. A Wednesday prayer meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., as well as the youth “Crossover” meeting.

• Church of Jesus Christ Holy Mission Pentacostal hosts church school each week at 11 a.m. and services at noon. Sunday evening services start at 6 p.m.

• Highly Exalted Ministries Inc. hosts a worship service each Sunday at 10 a.m., with a Bible study each Wednesday at 8 p.m.

• House of Prayer-Fellowship of Praise Ministries, located at 1410 Live Oak St. in Quincy, holds Sunday School at 10 a.m. each Sunday morning, followed by worship at 11. Call 875-1884 for more information.

• On the Move for Jesus in Gretna hosts services each first through fourth Sunday at 11 a.m., with Sunday School at 10 and a Bible study on Wednesday nights at 6:30.

• New Life Church holds Sunday School each week at 10:30 a.m., and worship services at noon on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Call 875-3267 for more information.

• Deliverance Temple Ministries holds Sunday School at 10 a.m., Sunday morning services at 11:30 a.m., first and third Sunday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday night Bible study at 7:30 p.m. The church is located at 5715 Hardaway Hwy. in Chattahoochee.  

• Mt. Zion CME Church holds Sunday School on the first, third and fourth Sundays at 10 a.m. followed by worship at 11 and on second Sundays at 8 a.m. Bible study is held each Wednesday at 7 p.m., with a youth study the last week of each month at 6 p.m.

• Church of Redeemed Believers hosts Sunday School each week at 10 a.m., followed by worship at 11, and Bible study each Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.

• St. Stephens PB Church hosts Sunday School each week at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 11 on the first, second and third Sundays.Fourth Sundays are Youth Sundays. Wednesday night Bible study begins at 7 p.m.

• Fountainhead AME Church holds services each first, second and fourth Sunday at 11 a.m. and a Bible study each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

• Antioch MB Church will host a program on relationships with guest speaker, Rev. Johnny Gordon, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m.

• First Pentecostal Church in Havana will host a kid’s crusade Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature a worship service and a pizza party immediately following. The service will be geared toward children 5-17 years old. The church is located on Highway 27, across from Badcock Furniture.

The church is also hosting a Family and Friend Day Sept. 20 at 2 p.m., with special speaker, Rev. David Blumenfeld. In addition to the worship service, there will be door prizes, a giant slide for kids, an apple dessert contest and dinner on the grounds.

• Greater Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Gretna holds Christian education at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday, followed by a worship service at 10:15 a.m. The church will hold service at Mt. Zion PB Church in Quincy Sept. 13 at 11 a.m.

• Greater Bethel MB Church has two locations: Greater Bethel East, 320 Washington St. in Quincy, meets at 9 a.m. each Sunday, and Greater Bethel West, 560 E. MLK Jr. Blvd. in Chattahoochee, meets at 10 a.m. for Sunday School followed by worship at 11 each Sunday, and at 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday for Bible study.

• A prayer breakfast will be held Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. at the House of Prayer Fellowship of Praise Church in Quincy. A worship service will be held Sept. 20 at 11 a.m.

• Corinth Christian Fellowship hosts worship services and Bible study Sundays at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the conference room of Comfort Inn Suites at Interstate 10 in Midway.

• Victorious Women’s Conference will be held Sept. 18-20, beginning with Ladies Night Out Friday at 7 p.m. Workshops begin Saturday at 9 a.m. on wills, facials, etiquette, housing programs, interviewing skills, getting and keeping good credit and careers. • Mt. Calvary PB Church will host its annual Family and Friends Day Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is U.S. Marine Corps Ret. Sgt. Ralph Salvas. The church is located in the Robertsville Community. Call 627-9916 for more information.

• Old Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church will host a Festival of Miracles Sept. 26, beginning at 10 a.m. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a day of music, food and fun for all ages. Musical guests include Consumed, Emerald City Quartet, Gann Family, Tammy Kirkland and the Parish Family. The church will also host homecoming Sept. 27, with Sunday School at 10 a.m., and worship at 11. A covered dish dinner will follow.

• A gospel benefit concert will be hosted by Shiloh PB Church Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. featuring various gospel groups and praise dancers. Free admission. The event is sponsored by Dreamers And Achievers Services and Homes for the Economically Disabled (DASHED). The church is located on Pat Thomas Parkway in Quincy.

• Sycamore United Methodist Church will host its annual homecoming  Oct. 11 with guest speaker Rev. Terry Wines, former pastor. A covered dish dinner will follow.

• Annointed Vessels of Praise will celebrate their anniversary Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. On Sunday, Rev. Clarence Jackson II will be the guest speaker. The church is located at 209 S. Duval St. in Quincy.

• Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church in Quincy will host its annual Family and Friends Day Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is John Harris Jr. Dinner will be served after the service.

• Mt. Hosea MB Church’s youth department will host a program, “It’s Not About Us; It’s About Jesus,” Sept. 20 at 3 p.m.Guest speaker is Delvin Price, and various praise and dance teams will perform. The church is located in the Robertsville Community.

• St. Mary CME Church holds Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday; and worship services on the first, second, fourth and fifth Sundays at 11 a.m. and on third Sunday at 8 a.m. Bible study  is held every Wednesday at 6 p.m.
