• First Baptist Church in Quincy holds Sunday School each week at 9:45 a.m., followed by worship at 10:55. Sunday evening worship begins at 6 p.m. Sunday morning worship services are broadcast on Sunday events at 6 p.m. on 93.3 FM.

• Church services at Mt. Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church are held the first, second and fourth Sundays at 11 a.m., and at 8 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month. Church school begins at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning.

• Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist hosts Sunday services each week with church school at 9:30 a.m., followed by the morning worship service at 11.

• The Advanced Teaching School of Ministry is offering registration for spring semester through Jan. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m., and during the school’s open house Jan. 10 from 10 a.m. until noon. Registration and open house will be held at 209 N. Main St. in Havana. Class size is limited, so register early. Classes begin Jan. 19.

All courses are $60, and include books. Courses include topics such as understanding people, the Old Testament and the Triune God.

Courses lead to one of four certificates in four areas of study. ATSM is registered with the Florida Department of Education and is a part of First Believers Christian Center Inc.
