Jacqueline Robinson Brown, 56, of Chattahoochee, died Feb. 17, 2009 in Tallahassee. Services were held Feb. 21 at the West Gadsden High School Gymnasium in Greensboro with burial in the Bear Creek Bethel Church Cemetery.
She was a member of Exodus Church of Deliverance in Quincy and graduated from Florida A&M University in 1973. She retired from the Gadsden County School Board as an educator after 34 years of dedicated service. She taught at Florida A&M University as a adjunct mathematics teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Shelly Brown Jr.; daughters, Karla Brown Robinson (Willie II) and Krista A. Brown; son, Kelvin A. Brown (Lamitra); mother, Ruth Robinson; sisters, Carolyn Brooks and Marilyn Gunn; brothers, Ned Robinson and Gary Robinson; and five beloved grandchildren.
