The Robert F. Munroe boys basketball team took a 25-14 lead into halftime of their home game against Aucilla Friday night.
They maintained that lead throughout the second half en route to a 47-33 District 3-A win.
“We played a balanced game and got out with the win," head coach Kevin Smith said.
Smith's team had three players in double figures, with Christian Granger leading the way with 19 points.
John Hilton Revell popped in 11 and Tommy Murray scored 10.
Rebound wise, Murray led the Bobcats with eight and Sam Young pulled off six.
Stephen Dollar was Aucilla's top scorer with 11 points.
It was Munroe's third game of the week.
Last Tuesday they lost to FAMU 91-62 in Tallahassee. Granger and Murray had 12 points apiece for the Cats and Revell hit 11.
Last Thursday they lost to Grace Christian in Bainbridge, 76-64, with Revell pumping in 22, Granger scoring 14 and Murray hitting 12.
Munroe played at John Paul II Tuesday night. They host Covenant of Panama City Friday night and Grace Christian Jan. 20.
