"You guys are in a pickle. If you get through this year, that's good but look out for next year," Property Appraiser Clay VanLandingham told the Gadsden County Board of Commissioners during their regular March 19 meeting.
Taking 2001 as the base year, VanLandingham said that property tax value has declined since 2007 when taxable values reached a high of $1.434 billion to $1.268 in 2012.
"That is a decline of 11.6 percent," he said.
